But can we also face up to our responsibility towards future generations and benefit from it?
We meet the challenge arising from this responsibility by practicing an environmental management system that enables us to use raw materials and energy sparingly. Ecology and economy are not a contradiction, but one of the most important challenges for modern, economic activity.

In 2003, we introduced the environmental management system DIN EN 14001 environmental management system with the declared aim of integrating environmental protection into company processes and reducing inefficiency.

JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF HOW ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT CAN SAVE MONEY AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT:

The chips produced during machining are processed into briquettes in a high-performance press and then sent for recycling. During the pressing process, any remaining cooling lubricants are separated and the volume of the aluminum chips is reduced by 80%. The pressed coolant is reused within the company and the costs for transporting the metals for remelting are significantly reduced, as are the number of truck journeys and the associated environmental impact.
